Tournaments are live elimination-style games that last about 2 hours and have a limited number players to keep it moving fast.
They are always free to play, but you have to sign up to reserve a spot. You can register on our tournaments page or using a Player Key at the table. Tournaments can only have 24 people so be sure to cancel your reservation if you can't make it.
After registration closes all players will be randomly assigned to a session for round 1 so be sure to watch the table to see where you're assigned. Then join the game by entering the Player Key at your spot.
Each session lasts 10 hands and all players start with 1,000 chips. You're hand is a win, lose, or push against the dealer but you're competing against the other players to have the highest chip count after 10 hands. The top 2 players from each session automatically advance. The next highest chip counts across all round 1 sessions win the wild card to fill out the tables for round 2.
Round 2 will have 12 players randomly assigned to 2 sessions and a fresh start with 1,000 chips. After 10 more hands the top 2 from each table and the 2 best wild card finishers move to the final table. The best 6 play another 10 hands with a fresh 1,000 chips to crown the winner.
If 12 or fewer players register for the tournament then there will only be 2 rounds. If 6 or fewer register then there's only 1 round.
For all rounds the ranking is based on chip count with a tiebreaker determined by the number of hands played (used if 2+ players have 0 chips). If there is still a tie then the ranking is based on random selection.

Contests run every month and give you the flexibility to play at any table any time.
Contests are always free to play, but when you're out of chips you have to wait for the next day to get more. We'll give you 1,000 chips the first time you play then an extra 500 each day after.
After you join the table using a Player Key you will bet your chips and play the hand according to standard blackjack rules. There's no limit on how much or how little you play as long as you have chips. But win, lose, or push we'll keep track of your chips, and you'll move up and down the rankings.
When the contest is over we'll tally all the chips and announce the winners. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 players plus 3 other players selected by random drawing where each chip in your chip stack is an entry into the drawing.

Player rankings are determined by chip count with the tiebreaker going to the player with more hands played. If two or more players have the same chip count and have played the same number of hands then rankings are determined by random selection.
Tournaments and contests are always free to play. We want this to be a fun night out for everyone so no gambling is allowed!
